Sama partnered with Splice to create sound libraries drawn from Xochimilco’s wetlands and the Río Magdalena, two of Mexico City’s most fragile ecosystems. This project documents the launch event, a floating sunrise concert in Xochimilco accompanied by a culinary experience by Colectivo Amasijo that invited guests to listen to and reflect on the territory. Proceeds from the library support Arca Tierra’s work to protect the chinampas and revive ancestral agricultural practices.
